Qatar Prime Minister Meets U.S. Secretary of State

According ​to the English section of⁣ webangah News Agency, quoting⁤ Mehr News Agency ⁢via Al Jazeera, Mohammed bin⁤ Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar’s Prime ⁣Minister⁢ and Foreign Minister, ‍met with ​U.S. ​Secretary of State Marco Rubio during his visit to the⁣ United States.

A senior White ​House official told Al Jazeera that the meeting ‌between the ⁤two began several hours ago.

The official‌ added that President Donald Trump⁢ is​ also scheduled to meet with ⁤Qatar’s Prime Minister today.

The‍ senior White ⁤House representative noted that discussions between‍ Qatar’s ⁤prime Minister and ‌the U.S.national security team focused on issues related to Gaza.
