New York Mayoral Candidate: Netanyahu Will Be Arrested if He Comes to New York

The‍ English section of webangah News Agency reported, citing Mehr News Agency and The Guardian,⁤ that Zahran Mamdani, the leading ‍candidate in the New York City mayoral race, warned that ‌israeli Prime ⁢Minister Benjamin ‍Netanyahu would be arrested⁤ if he ⁢travels to new York.

Mamdani said he ‌intends to execute the international‍ arrest warrant issued by ⁣the International Criminal ‍Court against ​Netanyahu for war⁣ crimes.

He emphasized that Netanyahu is a war criminal responsible for genocide ‌committed by his regime’s army in Gaza.

Reiterating a promise made ⁢earlier‍ in his mayoral campaign,Mamdani stated,”This is ⁢something I intend​ to carry out. My hope is to ensure this city stands up for international law.”
