Shehbaz Sharif: Israel’s UN Membership Must Be Suspended
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, reporting from Al Jazeera via Mehr News agency, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned Israel’s recent provocative attack on Doha in strong terms at an emergency summit today, Monday, held by organisation of Islamic Cooperation heads in support of Qatar.
Sharif expressed full solidarity with the Qatari people and stressed that this assault reveals Israel’s expansionist ambitions. He highlighted Qatar’s meaningful diplomatic efforts aimed at enhancing security and peace both regionally and globally.
The Prime Minister demanded an immediate halt to aggression against Gaza. He called for forming a task force dedicated to halting Israel’s expansionist plans. Moreover,he insisted that action be taken to suspend Israel’s membership in the United Nations.
