Axios: Netanyahu Informed Trump of Planned Attack on Qatar

According ‌to the English⁢ section of webangah News Agency, which cited ⁣Mehr News Agency, three senior Israeli officials ‍with direct knowledge told Axios that Israeli Prime Minister⁢ Benjamin Netanyahu notified U.S. President Donald Trump last ⁤Tuesday morning about plans‍ to strike Hamas leaders in ‌Doha.

Axios reported ⁤that the White House made a dubious⁤ claim asserting it only learned about the attack⁤ after rockets were fired and denied​ Trump any ‌chance to oppose it.

Though,⁤ seven​ Israeli officials told Axios that ​the ‍White House was aware of the plan well‌ in advance, even if the time ⁢frame to halt it​ was tight.

According to these officials,Netanyahu informed the White House late ⁤but early enough for them to cancel the operation if thay chose.
