Bahrain’s Ambassador Leaves Tel Aviv; No Successor Named Yet
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, the Israeli newspaper Maariv reported that Khaled Al-Jalahma, Bahrain’s ambassador to Tel Aviv, left Israel last April.
Reports indicate that he departed after being appointed as Deputy Minister of Political Affairs at Bahrain’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The report adds that no official successor has been named since Al-Jalahma’s departure.Meanwhile,Bahrain’s embassy in Israel continues its operations through lower-ranking diplomats.
The devastating war in Gaza, Israel’s plans to annex parts of the West Bank and other occupied areas, along with tel Aviv’s recent aggressive strike on Doha, have seriously challenged the future of Arab peace agreements with Israel.
