Zelensky Sets Conditions for Meeting Trump and Putin
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he is ready to meet unconditionally with U.S.President donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, but the meeting must not take place in Moscow.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov earlier said that holding a trilateral summit involving Ukraine and the united States would only be possible if Kyiv provides a reasonable response to Moscow’s proposals.
Ryabkov added, “vladimir Putin has already communicated everything needed to establish contact with Volodymyr Zelensky.”
“If no appropriate, reasonable, and clever response is given to our signals,” he continued, “there is little reason to talk about any kind of trilateral summit.”
Earlier, Putin announced that Moscow is ”ready” to host peace talks with Ukraine and assured full security guarantees for Ukrainian delegations visiting Moscow. According to him, Moscow remains the best location for high-level Russia-Ukraine meetings.
