Scotland Calls for Israel to Be Tried and Sanctioned
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al-Masirah, Scottish First Minister John Swinney stated that silence and inaction in the face of Israel’s genocide in Gaza must not be an option.
He added that Israel should be tried and subject to sanctions.
The United Nations’ International Commission of Inquiry announced on Tuesday that the Israeli regime has committed genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, officially using the term genocide.
The report detailed that Israeli officials and their affiliates have committed five acts related to genocide in Gaza.
Over the past two years, Israel has pursued this policy wiht the goal of eradicating Palestinians by imposing a blockade causing famine in Gaza. Sixty thousand pieces of evidence have been collected to support these findings.
