The original deadline for TikTok was January 19 this year; however, after entering the White House, trump delayed enforcement to allow time for a sale of TikTok’s U.S. business.
When asked about the framework of a potential deal concerning TikTok, Trump saeid he would raise the issue during his conversation with China’s president. He previously stated that companies interested in acquiring this Chinese social network exist and that details about potential buyers will be announced soon.
