Waltz Returns to Trump Administration; Senate Confirms Key SignalGate Suspect
The US Senate, after a lengthy deliberation lasting several months, has appointed mike Waltz-former National Security Advisor under President Donald Trump and the main defendant in the “Signalgate” controversy-as Washington’s ambassador to the United Nations, according to webangah News Agency.
Waltz secured this sensitive diplomatic post with a narrow vote of 47 in favor and 43 against. His confirmation comes just days ahead of the annual UN General Assembly meeting in New York.
this approval ends a prolonged delay largely caused by opposition from several Senate Democrats who criticized Waltz’s past conduct.
The primary reason for postponement was Waltz’s controversial history, including his dismissal as Trump’s National Security Advisor following the Signalgate scandal.

The episode embarrassed the management deeply and raised serious concerns about classified information handling. Nonetheless, Waltz managed to navigate his Senate confirmation hearing without major damage.
