Trump Threatens Venezuela
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, U.S.President Donald Trump issued a warning to Venezuela on Saturday via his social media platform, Truth Social.
in his message on Truth Social,Trump sought to justify Washington’s military actions against Caracas by claiming,”We want Venezuela to immediately accept all prisoners and individuals detained in mental health facilities-including the worst psychiatric institutions in the world-that the Venezuelan ’leadership’ has forcibly sent into the United states!”
The U.S. president further alleged, “Thousands have been severely harmed and even killed by these ‘monsters.’ Remove them from our contry immediately-right now-or you will pay an incalculable price!”
This comes after Trump previously announced that U.S. forces stationed in the Caribbean region attacked a Venezuelan ship again, resulting in three deaths.
Trump wrote on Truth Social that “this deadly direct attack was ordered by me within the area of obligation of U.S. Southern Command,” which covers 31 countries across South America, Central America, and the Caribbean.
It is notable that Trump has recently targeted several Venezuelan ships under the pretext of combating drug trafficking.
