Putin: We Will Respond to Strategic Threats Not with Words, but Military Action

He accused the West of seeking to undermine global equality and achieve absolute superiority.
Putin added that strategic stability continues to deteriorate. Despite repeated warnings from Russia to the West, their initiatives have received no clear response. He warned that a complete rejection of the New START treaty would be a mistake.
The russian president further emphasized that Russia is ready to respond to any strategic threat not with words but with technical military measures. He affirmed Russia’s willingness to adhere fully to the New START agreement for one year after its expiration and expressed no interest in an arms race.
