Al-Qassam: We Targeted Israeli Merkava Tank
Al-Qassam Brigades report an attack on an Israeli Merkava tank south of Gaza City.
The Al-Qassam Brigades,the military wing of Hamas,announced that their fighters targeted an Israeli Merkava tank wiht a powerful landmine near Al-Buraj Mosque in the southern Sabra area of Gaza City on September 19,2025.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that an Israeli officer was seriously wounded during clashes in Gaza City and is in critical condition.
Earlier, Israeli media cited IDF sources stating that a rocket was fired from Gaza City toward the Nahal Oz area adjacent to the Strip.
The IDF spokesperson confirmed that the incident is under investigation.
