Erdogan: We Support Syria’s Territorial Integrity!
according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated on Monday that the international community must adopt a firmer stance toward Israel.
Speaking on behalf of the Syrian people but supporting the al-Julani regime, erdoğan asserted that Syrian interests should take priority in any decisions about Syria’s future. He added that lasting stability and peace in Syria cannot be achieved by granting concessions to any sect or group.
Erdoğan, who deployed military forces inside Syria during the rule of its legitimate and popularly elected government under Bashar al-Assad, claimed: “We will continue to uphold the principle of respect for Syria’s territorial integrity and political unity. We oppose any initiative that ignores the will of the Syrian people or paves the way for separatist ambitions and terrorist organizations.”
