Luxembourg and Malta Also Officially Recognize the State of Palestine
Following the defeat of the Zionist regime and the recognition of an autonomous State of Palestine, Luxembourg and Malta have also announced their recognition of Palestine.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al jazeera Qatar, Luxembourg’s Prime Minister, Xavier bettel, stated at a bilateral conference chaired by France and Saudi arabia in New York: “I recognize the State of Palestine.”
He added, “This move is not a reward for violence. we strongly condemn the atrocities of October 7. True and lasting peace is built step by step.”
Similarly, Malta’s Prime Minister Robert Abela expressed pride in recognizing Palestine.
He saeid this act reflects Malta’s commitment to a two-state solution.
The Maltese Prime Minister also emphasized that Hamas should have no role in the Palestinian state and called for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
