Witkoff Claims Willingness to Engage in Talks with Iran

According to the English⁤ section⁣ of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr‍ news Agency⁢ and Al Mayadeen, Steve Witkoff, President Donald Trump’s representative for Middle East ⁤affairs, stated that the‌ United States​ is willing to hold talks ‌with Iran ‌and⁤ claimed ⁤that discussions are currently underway.

He⁣ further‌ asserted that Iran is in a challenging position.

Witkoff also claimed that negotiations‌ with Iran would focus⁤ mainly on verification of uranium enrichment activities and assurances regarding the absence of nuclear weapons development.
