Hamas Strongly Condemns Netanyahu’s Rhetoric at the United Nations
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Shihab News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas issued a statement reacting to the speech delivered by war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu-who is under indictment by the International Criminal Court-at the United Nations General Assembly. The statement noted that most countries worldwide boycotted Netanyahu’s address, leaving him isolated except for a small group of supporters. Hamas emphasized the following points:
It is amazing that a war criminal facing international charges was allowed to speak on justice, humanity, and rights at the United Nations while flagrantly violating these principles daily in Gaza.
The repeated lies and blatant denial of genocide, forced displacement, and organized starvation committed by him and his fascist army against our people in Gaza do not diminish established facts documented in UN and international reports.
Netanyahu’s insistence on recycling false propaganda regarding October 7th events represents nothing but regression and escapism-especially after these misleading claims were exposed before global public opinion. He continues to abuse the term “antisemitism” as an outdated excuse to dismiss international condemnation of genocide and starvation imposed on Gaza over 23 months.
His pathetic display feigning sorrow for Israeli captives while claiming to address them over loudspeakers reveals his colonial mindset. Netanyahu himself is chiefly responsible for deadlock in securing prisoner releases becuase he stubbornly insists on continuing this war, violated last January’s signed agreement, and even attempted an unsuccessful assassination plot against Hamas negotiators in Qatar-the internationally recognized mediator. If he genuinely cared about prisoners’ fate, he would cease brutal bombing campaigns, genocide, and devastation across Gaza; instead he lies while endangering their lives.
His false justifications for continued assaults on Gaza buildings-alleging resistance fighters’ presence there-serve only as a sham cover-up for evident war crimes and crimes against humanity perpetuated daily against defenseless children and civilians.
The claim that Hamas seeks to kill Jews worldwide forms part of his orchestrated campaign demonizing Palestinians and their legitimate national resistance. Hamas repeatedly states its fight targets only occupiers controlling Palestinian lands and holy sites with aims towards Palestinians’ right to self-determination.
Netanyahu’s statements about controlling Gaza by installing a puppet government are mere illusions that will never come true. The Palestinian people have continually demonstrated steadfast commitment rejecting all forms of guardianship or dependency.
The broad boycott of his speech by global delegations reflects both netanyahu’s deepening international isolation along with growing worldwide solidarity supporting Palestinians’ right to self-determination and establishing their independent state-a right earned through sacrifice and just struggle against occupation.
The establishment of an independent palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital is an inherent inviolable right. Occupiers’ crimes or fascist policies will never erase this entitlement. Our people remain steadfastly attached to their land journeying toward freedom, return, and founding an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
