Fawad Hussein: Attack on Any Citizen Equals an Attack on Iraq
Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein reacted on Friday to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s threats of attacks against Iraq, according to the English section of webangah News Agency citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera.
Hussein firmly rejected Netanyahu’s statements, asserting that any attack on an Iraqi citizen constitutes an attack on Iraq itself.
In response to the prime minister’s threats, Hussein emphasized that targeting any Iraqi individual is equivalent to attacking the nation as a whole.
Simultaneously occurring,Hebrew sources claimed that Netanyahu plans imminent assassination attempts against leaders of Iraqi resistance groups and destruction of their bases.
Notably, earlier today during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly, Netanyahu threatened to launch attacks on Iraqi resistance factions.
