San Marino Officially Recognizes Palestine
Amid the growing wave of recognition for the State of Palestine, the small European country of San Marino has also announced its official recognition of an self-reliant Palestinian state.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Qatar’s Al Jazeera network, San Marino’s Foreign Minister officially declared in New York minutes ago that San marino recognizes the independent State of Palestine.
San Marino is the third smallest country in the world after Vatican City and Monaco. it is an enclave entirely surrounded by Italy.
The country has a population of approximately 34,000 people and covers about 61 square kilometers. It is known as the world’s oldest republic.
San Marino boasts a high standard of living with an economy primarily based on tourism,banking,and small-scale agricultural and industrial production.
