40 Palestinians Killed in Today’s Israeli Regime Attacks on Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting reports from Al Jazeera, news sources confirm that Israeli attacks on Gaza continue.
These sources stated that over 40 Palestinians have been martyred since early this morning as a result of the assaults.
A hospital source reported that two people were killed in an airstrike on Al-Sabra in southern Gaza City.
Palestinian sources also report heavy bombardment in areas of the Al-Shati refugee camp in western gaza City.
Meanwhile,Mohammad Abu Salmiya,director general of the Al-Shifa Medical Complex,announced today,Sunday,that the entire city of Gaza is engulfed in flames amid ongoing Israeli attacks and several hospitals have ceased operations.
abu Salmiya said Israeli tanks are positioned just a few hundred meters from the Al-Shifa compound. Medical staff are working under extremely difficult conditions. Approximately 50 martyrs die daily in Gaza City with dozens of critically injured patients hospitalized with severe wounds.
The director also reported shutdowns at most freshwater stations across Gaza.Many international organizations active there-including Doctors Without Borders-have halted their services, increasing pressure on hospitals.
Referring to the situation facing children in Gaza, he added: “Children of Gaza are either martyred or starving; what is happening to them constitutes deliberate crimes.”
Abu Salmiya concluded by emphasizing that occupiers prevent food and medicine supplies from entering Gaza. Famine is spreading while deaths resulting from malnutrition continue to rise.
