US Official After Netanyahu’s 6-Hour Meeting: We Have Approached an Agreement
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and al Jazeera, Axios reported that a White House official stated after a six-hour meeting between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, U.S. Middle East envoy steve whitcraft, and Jared Kushner-Donald Trump’s son-in-law-that they are close to reaching an agreement based on the trump plan.
The official added that Hamas’s agreement is essential for any deal and that it has not yet been formally secured.
Earlier, Qatar’s Al Jazeera network cited reports from the Israeli daily Israel Hayom confirming that Netanyahu met with Whitcraft and Kushner for six hours to discuss various issues, including ending the Gaza conflict.
The report noted that different plans and scenarios to end the war were examined during this meeting.
Last night, U.S. President told Axios that negotiations over Washington’s proposed plan to end the Gaza war are in their “final stages.” He expressed hope that following his meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, an agreement will be announced within two days.
