Latest Statement from France, Germany, and the United Kingdom on Iran
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera,France,Germany,and the UK issued a statement on Monday asserting their commitment to efforts to “prevent the development of Iranian nuclear weapons,” without addressing the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program.
The three European countries made this claim amid ongoing indirect negotiations between Tehran and Washington while notably refraining from condemning US aggression and Israeli occupation in Iran. They asserted that they would continue engaging thru ”diplomatic channels” regarding Iran.
The joint statement from France, Germany, and the UK said: ”We will continue pursuing diplomatic channels and negotiations with tehran.”
Earlier today, the European union presidency announced that following an anti-Iranian UN resolution influenced by pressure from the US and European troika members, sanctions against the Islamic Republic of Iran have been reinstated.
