White House Claims Netanyahu Apologized to Qataris
the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, reported that the White House announced a three-way phone call between U.S. President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Qatar’s Prime Minister.This occurred on the sidelines of a meeting between Trump and Netanyahu.
According to the White House statement, netanyahu expressed regret over an unsuccessful israeli operation targeting Hamas officials in Doha that resulted in the death of a qatari soldier. He promised that such an attack would not happen again.
The statement also claimed that Qatar’s Prime Minister welcomed these remarks and confirmed Doha’s readiness to continue its cooperation on regional security.
Furthermore, according to the White House claim, the united States, Israel, and Qatar agreed to establish a trilateral mechanism to address mutual disputes.
This comes as Kan news agency from Israel had earlier reported that Netanyahu did not inform his cabinet ministers about his decision to apologize to Qatari officials.
