Pakistan Prime Minister: Israel’s Brutality Must End
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz sharif condemned in strong terms the cowardly attack by israeli forces on the Freedom Flotilla heading to Gaza. he called for the immediate release of peace activists who have been unlawfully detained.
Sharif stated on the social media platform X: “This savagery must end. Peace must be allowed a chance, and humanitarian aid should reach those in need.”
He emphasized: “We pray for the wellbeing of all those illegally detained by Israeli forces. We hope and demand their immediate release. Their only ‘crime’ was carrying aid to vulnerable Palestinians.”
The international Freedom Flotilla, comprising more than 40 vessels and over 500 volunteers from around 40 countries, was intercepted last night approximately 80 nautical miles off Gaza by Israel’s naval forces.
Organizers reported that nine ships affiliated with this flotilla were seized, with one vessel attacked in international waters.
