Tel Aviv’s Claim Proven False; Gaza Bombing Continues
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Masirah, Palestinian sources reported that despite Tel Aviv’s claim of stopping military operations in Gaza City after Hamas responded to Trump’s proposal, Israeli warplanes bombed multiple areas in the city at least five times over the past two hours.
These sources added that Israeli artillery shelling continued, targeting Al-Nafaq and Al-Ghafari streets in Gaza City as Palestinian refugees were returning to these neighborhoods.
Al-Yarmouk Street was also struck amid residents’ return efforts.
Hospital sources inside Gaza stated that since early today, at least seven people have been killed during Israeli attacks on Gaza City.
Earlier media reports from Israel indicated that political circles instructed the army to reduce assaults on the Gaza Strip and remain on alert only.
The political leadership reportedly told the military that the occupation of Gaza City shoudl be paused and military operations minimized to their lowest level.
The same sources added that Israel’s chief of staff ordered occupying forces to prepare for implementing the first phase of Trump’s plan.
