Turkey’s Foreign Ministry Urges Tel Aviv to Immediately Halt Attacks on Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Al-Nashra website, Turkey’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted Hamas’s response to President Trump’s ceasefire proposal in a statement. It said,”The response announced by the Hamas movement to U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan opens the way for immediate steps toward establishing a ceasefire in Gaza, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to gaza Strip, and achieving lasting peace.”
The ministry emphasized that the Israeli regime must immediately stop its attacks against Palestinians in Gaza.
It urged all relevant parties to begin negotiations that lead to a ceasefire and demonstrate progress toward implementing the internationally supported two-state solution.
The statement added that Turkey will continue supporting negotiations and providing constructive assistance.
Hamas announced last night that it had submitted its reply regarding Trump’s ceasefire plan through intermediaries, expressing agreement on releasing all Israeli prisoners-both alive and deceased.
