Turkey: Netanyahu May Cancel Gaza Agreement at Any Moment
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency via Russia Al-Yawm, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan warned that Israeli prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could disrupt efforts to end the Gaza conflict at any moment.
He emphasized that the Israeli cabinet’s actions might hinder political and diplomatic progress toward stopping the fighting.
Meanwhile, Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that Netanyahu’s recent statements have put former U.S. President Trump’s proposed peace plan at risk.
In separate remarks on Syria, Turkey’s foreign minister stated, ”We reject any foreign interference aimed at dividing Syria.”
Fidan added: ”Our diplomatic efforts focus fully on supporting the Syrian government.Conducting parliamentary elections there is a pivotal step in that country’s history.”
The warning about Netanyahu’s possible obstruction came hours after the Israeli prime minister declared that despite heavy domestic and international pressure to halt the war, he remains steadfast to fulfill all military objectives. He vowed not to give up on freeing all captives or achieving other wartime goals.
He stressed that Israeli army operations would continue deep inside Gaza Strip territory.
The Israeli prime minister asserted that this operation aims to recover all captives-both living individuals and bodies of those killed.
