According to ⁢the English section ‍of webangah⁤ news Agency, citing Mehr News ⁣Agency and Deutsche Welle, at least 60 people lost‌ their⁢ lives due‍ to landslides and floods triggered by torrential rains in Nepal and India.

officials reported that eastern Nepal has been the hardest hit‌ region.

The severe rainfall has caused flooding, damaging⁢ roads and bridges.

Chinese state media reported‍ that⁢ about a thousand climbers are stranded at Everest base camps on the Tibetan side due to heavy snowstorms.

Snowdrifts have blocked access routes leading​ to camps ‌located ⁣above 4,900 meters elevation ‌in this area.

Rescue teams along with hundreds of villagers are working tirelessly to⁣ clear⁢ paths and restore⁣ access.
