Italy: Opportunity to End War Emerges; Berlin Pledges Support for Agreement
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni on Thursday spoke about the ceasefire agreement between Israeli occupiers and the oppressed people in Gaza without condemning Israel’s crimes against Palestinians in their homeland. She said: “The agreement on implementing the first phase of Trump’s plan and it’s broader framework represents an opportunity to end the conflicts.”
Meanwhile, Germany’s Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, without referencing Israel’s history of failing to fulfill its commitments, stated: “The agreement on this initial phase paves the way for prisoner releases and a ceasefire. Berlin is prepared to support further steps aimed at achieving peace in the region.”
