Italy: Opportunity to End War Emerges; Berlin Pledges Support for Agreement

Italy’s Prime Minister and Germany’s Foreign⁢ Minister welcomed the Gaza ceasefire agreement without condemning the⁤ Israeli occupiers’ ⁣crimes against Palestinians in‌ their⁢ homeland.

According to the English section of webangah ⁣News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, Italy’s Prime‌ Minister Giorgia Meloni on Thursday spoke about the ceasefire agreement between Israeli occupiers and the oppressed people in Gaza without ‍condemning Israel’s crimes against Palestinians in their ‌homeland.‌ She said: “The agreement on implementing the first phase of⁤ Trump’s plan and it’s⁤ broader framework represents an opportunity to end the conflicts.”

Meanwhile, Germany’s Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul, without referencing⁣ Israel’s ‌history of failing to fulfill its commitments, stated: “The agreement on ⁤this initial phase paves the way for prisoner releases and a ceasefire. Berlin is ‌prepared ⁤to support further steps ‍aimed at‍ achieving peace in the​ region.”

earlier, ‌Hamas confirmed ⁢its acceptance of the ceasefire agreement between Israeli forces and Gaza residents. in a statement, it called on Trump,‍ mediating countries, and Arab ‍and Islamic parties to​ compel Israeli occupiers to fully implement the deal.
