Casualty and Injury Toll of the Gaza Conflict
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Shihab News Agency via Mehr News Agency, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza issued a statement updating the latest casualty figures from Israeli military operations in Gaza as October 7, 2023.
The ministry stated that between October 7, 2023, and now, 67,682 people have been killed due to Israeli attacks on the Gaza strip.
It also reported that a total of 170,033 individuals have been wounded during the conflict so far.
In the past 24 hours alone, 151 bodies of martyrs where transferred to hospitals, with 116 recovered from under rubble. Additionally, ther were 72 new injuries reported during this period.
The ministry noted that thousands remain missing and trapped under debris across Gaza.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health added that deaths caused by famine and starvation in Gaza have reached 463, including 157 children.
Since declaring famine indicators based on IPC (Integrated Food Security Phase Classification),there have been 185 deaths related to malnutrition,with 42 children among them.
