Trump Claims Destruction of Drug-Carrying Submarine Heading to the US
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm network, U.S. President Donald trump announced that a large submarine carrying drugs destined for entry into the United States was destroyed.
Trump labeled narcotics traffickers as terrorists and added that during this operation, two terrorists were killed and two others found aboard the submarine were captured.
Last Tuesday, Trump also posted on his Truth Social account that under his orders, U.S. forces attacked a vessel off the coast of Venezuela, resulting in six deaths.
The president claimed this vessel was transporting narcotics.
As last September, the U.S. has repeatedly attacked Venezuelan boats, alleging they carried drugs-a charge rejected by Caracas, which views these actions as Washington’s attempts to overthrow maduro’s government.
