U.S. State Capitol Building Evacuated Following Discovery of Suspicious Object
A suspicious object found at the entrance of a U.S. state capitol building prompted its evacuation.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, U.S. police discovered a suspicious item resembling a bomb outside a state’s capitol building.
The Wyoming State Capitol was evacuated following the incident.Among those evacuated were Governor Mark Gordon and several members of the state’s finance commission.
State police deployed drones and trained dogs to detect explosives. The object was reportedly found on the steps leading to the capitol entrance.
No further details have been released. Surrounding streets remained closed for several hours as well.
