Colombian President Pledges to Combat Organized Assassinations in the Caribbean

According⁣ to the ‌English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News‍ Agency and Al Mayadeen Network, ​Gustavo Petro, President of Colombia, announced that ⁣he will legally defend himself against accusations‌ made by some senior ‍U.S. officials.

Petro‌ also emphasized his unwavering commitment to stand against genocide and⁤ organized‍ assassinations in the Caribbean region.

The Colombian president added that whenever American‌ society requests cooperation in combating drug trafficking, ⁢Colombia is​ ready to provide assistance.

His remarks came hours after U.S. ⁢President ‍Donald Trump threatened Colombia, stating that vrey serious actions might ‍be taken against the country.
