Hamas Political Office Media Advisor: We Have Not Violated the Ceasefire

According to ⁣the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News ⁢Agency and‍ Al⁣ Arabiya, Taher Al-Nunu, media advisor to the head of Hamas’s political bureau, responded today, Wednesday, ​to last night’s ‌Israeli attacks on Gaza that killed over 100 ⁢peopel-clearly a breach of the ceasefire. He said Hamas remains committed to the ceasefire.

He added: “We call on mediators to take immediate steps to force the occupiers to ⁢comply with the ceasefire provisions. we‍ have not violated it.”

Al-Nunu commented on Israeli claims regarding a soldier’s death in Rafah by stating that this area is fully under Israeli control⁢ and that no breach has been committed by Hamas.

He also noted: “The occupiers present a narrative ​only⁤ they have created and are making excuses in ‌Gaza.”
