Hebrew Newspaper Admits Israeli Army Participation in West Bank Attacks
A Hebrew-language newspaper has admitted to the Israeli military’s collaboration with settler groups in attacks on the West Bank.
According to the english section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, the Hebrew-language newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth acknowledged that a group of Israeli settlers advocating settlement expansion have carried out violent attacks against the West Bank, with these assaults increasing in frequency.
The report states that on-the-ground conditions and evidence indicate that the Israeli military does not intervene against these settler attacks targeting West Bank residents.
Earlier reports had also revealed that these attacks occurred with support from Israeli soldiers.
Yedioth Ahronoth further noted that these assaults are now beyond control.
