Aftershocks of Hezbollah Operation: Costly Israeli Project Grounded + Photos

The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Quds, reported that a journalist from the Hebrew-language Kan network admitted that the Israeli Air Force decided to discontinue the large Tel Shmaim spy balloon used to monitor Jilil Sulfi. This decision came after Hezbollah’s successful operation against it one and a half years ago.
according to the report, this spying balloon project-which helped Israel track cruise missiles and drones-was halted. the cost of implementing it reached hundreds of millions of shekels.
The report also noted that military personnel involved in this project were reassigned to other units within the Israeli Air Force.
It is indeed worth mentioning that Hezbollah forces targeted several Israeli spy towers and balloons multiple times during their support operations for Palestinian resistance forces.
