Zahran Mamadani: Trump Should Spend on Food for People Instead of Dance Halls
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, zohran Mamdani, the Democratic candidate for New York City mayor, told CNN that Donald Trump and Elon Musk support Andrew Cuomo as he would be like a puppet in their hands.
Mamdani added that New Yorkers do not want someone in City Hall who replicates Trump’s agenda.
He pointed out that the $300 million being spent on a dance hall at the White House could cover Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for 100,000 New Yorkers. Meanwhile, Trump is trying to make it harder for Americans to buy food.
Mamdani emphasized that trump has no right to decide which cities or states deserve federal funding and stated they are fighting hard to secure thes funds.
President Donald trump has threatened to restrict federal financial support specifically allocated for New York City if Democrat Muslim candidate Zohran Mamdani wins the mayoral race.
