Pentagon Responds to Trump’s Threats Against Nigeria
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, CNN reported that the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) has received requests to develop various emergency strategies regarding Nigeria after Trump’s threats against the country.
The White house announced that, at Trump’s request, the Department of Defense is reviewing possible options toward Nigeria under the pretext of Christian killings in the country.Any decision on this matter will be made directly by Trump.
CNN added that several commanders of U.S.forces in Africa have been urgently summoned following the circulation of Trump’s threats on social media.
Meanwhile, Farhan Haq, Deputy Spokesperson for the UN Secretary-General, responded to these threats by urging all UN member states to refrain from violence or threats against othre countries.
