Putin Announces Start of Serial Production for Burevestnik Ballistic Missiles
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and qatar’s Al Jazeera network, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) Sarmat will be deployed into combat service next year.
He added that all programs for developing the country’s military industry are underway.
The Russian president also saeid that Russia, like other nuclear powers, is enhancing its capabilities.
Last week,Putin said: “We have built nuclear-powered unmanned submarines (drones). The Burevestnik missile represents a scientific breakthrough and can be launched within seconds.”
He further noted: “we developed nuclear-powered unmanned submarines. We tested Poseidon, which is unstoppable and considerably more powerful than our Sarmat ICBM.”
