Israel Confirms Handing Over Another Prisoner’s Body
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed that israel has received the body of another captive from the International Committee of the Red Cross in Gaza.
The Israeli military had earlier stated that red Cross officials were en route to a location in northern Gaza to retrieve the bodies of Israeli captives.
The Al-Qassam Brigades, Hamas’s military wing, announced Wednesday evening that they found the body of an Israeli captive in Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza and will hand it over to Israel at 9 p.m. Gaza time.
Al-Qassam stated that during search operations east of Shuja’iyya, their fighters located one deceased captured Israeli soldier.
As part of a prisoner exchange arrangement, Hamas’s armed wing said it will deliver the captive’s body to the Red Cross at 9 p.m.
the Al-Qassam statement also revealed details about deceptive tactics used by enemy forces during searches for bodies of captured Israelis within Gaza.
