CENTCOM Reports Over 22 Joint Counter-ISIS Operations Conducted in Syria

According⁤ to the ‍English section⁣ of webangah News Agency, ‍citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, U.S.‍ Central Command ‍(CENTCOM) stated‌ that its forces, in cooperation ⁢with​ partners in⁣ Syria, carried out more than 22 operations against ISIS militants over the past ‌month.

The command’s statement confirmed that five ISIS members⁣ where killed and 19 others arrested during these missions.

This ​report was released⁣ a‍ day after Tom Barrett, former ⁣U.S. special‍ envoy for Syria under the Trump governance, announced that the Damascus regime had joined his self-declared international ⁢coalition against ISIS as its ninetieth member.
