Russian Army Seizes New Areas on the Frontlines
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik via Mehr News Agency, Russia’s Ministry of Defense reported that its army has gained control over new areas.
The ministry stated that units from the Central Group began clearing operations in the village of Ravnovoe in Donetsk. They also repelled seven attacks by Ukrainian forces attempting to break the encirclement near Krasnoyarmeysk.
The statement added that a Ukrainian military airbase and energy infrastructure facilities supplying its military-industrial centers were targeted.
Additionally, Russian forces have liberated the village of Yablokova in the Zaporizhzhia region, according to the ministry’s announcement.
The Ministry of Defense also reported shooting down 247 ukrainian drones and repelling counterattacks by Ukrainian troops in the areas of Kotkovka and Petrovka.
