Sudan Army Continues Battle with Rapid Support Forces in El Obeid
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, a Sudanese military source told Al Jazeera that Sudanese army forces set fire to and destroyed Rapid Support Forces’ military vehicles in the border triangle area between Sudan, Egypt, and Libya.
At the same time, military sources reported that Sudan’s army inflicted heavy blows on Rapid Support Forces west of Al-Ubayyid city and in the Abu qood and al-Tinah areas, destroying their equipment.
The sources confirmed dozens of casualties among Rapid support Forces personnel along with notable destruction of their assets.
The Sudanese army also downed a drone operated by the Rapid Support Forces over Al-Ubayyid city.
Simultaneously occurring, other reports indicated fierce fighting continues between Sudan’s army forces and Rapid Support Forces in North Kordofan state.
