227 People Kidnapped in Attack on Nigerian School

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Agence France-Presse, the Christian Association of Nigeria reported that gunmen raided the Catholic St. Mary’s School, taking numerous students and staff hostage. Some students have managed to escape, according to the report.
the incident occurred after the Nigerian government called for restricted access to the school due to increased armed group attacks; however, school authorities ignored these warnings.
Previously, Arise TV had reported that 52 people were abducted in this attack.
Three days earlier, gunmen attacked a church in western Nigeria, killing five individuals.
In late October, a similar assault took place in Maga city of Kebbi state when attackers abducted 24 students.
