Joseph Aoun Calls on International Community to Act After Tel Aviv’s Attack on Dahieh
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,quoting Al-Nashra via Mehr News Agency,Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned the Israeli regime’s attack on Beirut’s southern Dahiyeh district. he stated that Israel’s evening assault coinciding with Lebanon’s Independence Day marks clear evidence that the regime disregards repeated calls to halt its aggressions against Lebanon.
Aoun added that Israel refuses to implement international resolutions or any efforts and initiatives aimed at de-escalating tensions and restoring stability. He said these attacks do not target Lebanon alone but threaten the entire region.
The Lebanese president emphasized that Lebanon has maintained a ceasefire for almost a year and has continuously put forward initiatives in this regard.
Aoun called once again on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by acting decisively and seriously to stop aggression against Lebanon and its people, prevent further escalation in the region, and halt more bloodshed.
