Zelensky Forced to Thank Trump

According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on his social media platform X on Sunday: “I spoke with⁣ French President Emmanuel ‌macron. Our teams (negotiation delegations) are cooperating in Geneva with our partners, and it⁣ is indeed⁤ very critically important that a practical outcome is achieved that brings Ukraine and all of Europe closer to peace and⁣ reliable security.”

Zelensky continued, “We are coordinating our positions, and it is essential that talks continue. We count on our partners to ​listen to our arguments.⁤ We appreciate everything the United States and President Trump do for security​ and will continue constructive cooperation as much as possible.‌ We are awaiting new reports from our teams in Switzerland.”

This comes after Donald Trump posted⁢ earlier on his social media platform Truth Social: “I inherited a war that ⁢should⁤ never have happened-a war that has been‌ a loss for everyone,especially the ‌millions ⁢senselessly killed. Ukraine’s ‘leadership’ has shown no appreciation for our efforts.”
