The Venezuelan leader also announced the discovery of a new extreme right-wing plot last night, adding that “they conspire every day,” and for the criminal far-right tied to María Corina, sabotage, violence, and crime remain their only options.
Maduro emphasized that national unity is key to Venezuela’s successful navigation through these challenges. he cited polls showing that over 90 percent of the population supports the armed forces.

In recent months, under the pretext of combating drug trafficking, the United States has increased its military presence in the Caribbean Sea near Venezuela’s borders.
The White House has targeted vessels near Venezuelan waters on similar grounds but has not released details verifying whether those targeted in over 20 attacks across the Caribbean and Eastern Pacific were actually traffickers. Experts warn that even if traffickers were targeted, such actions amount to extrajudicial executions.
