Protests Escalate Across Syria + Video
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, the Syrian Observatory for Human rights stated that Julani forces fired at Syrian protesters and used government vehicles to run over demonstrators.
The Observatory also reported arrests of several protesters in Al-Zahraa Square in Homs. It further noted that following a call by Sheikh Ghazal Ghazal, residents of Latakia, Jableh, Tartous, Homs, and the outskirts of Hama took to the streets.
The protests have expanded in Homs and western rural areas of hama. the demonstrations have spread to Masyaf, Salhab, wadi al-Oyoun, and surrounding villages.
Al-Ahed network reported gunfire from Julani forces targeting civilians in Latakia.
Protesters in Sahl al-Ghab district of Hama province chanted slogans against Julani. They declared: “Listen up Julani, Alawites will not bow.”
