Egypt: Israeli Forces Must Withdraw from All of Lebanon Immediately
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Sputnik, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty met with several Lebanese parliamentarians during his visit to Beirut and reaffirmed his country’s steadfast support for Beirut.
He emphasized that Cairo remains committed to backing Lebanon’s national institutions to safeguard the country’s internal stability and unity.
abdelatty stated that Egypt views Lebanon as a cornerstone of regional security and stability. Protecting Lebanon’s sovereignty and independence remains a consistent priority in Cairo’s foreign policy.
He also called for the full implementation of United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, demanding the withdrawal of Israeli troops from all Lebanese territory and an immediate halt to Tel Aviv’s incursions.
