According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing mehr News Agency, a Julani regime official told Al jazeera that certain factions within Israel deliberately sabotage efforts to establish calm in the region and seek to escalate tensions.
The senior Julani regime official stated that labeling groups as threats to Israeli security is a failed attempt to interfere in Syrian affairs.
The Julani regime’s ambassador to the United Nations told Al Jazeera that violations of sovereignty are unacceptable for the international community to ignore.
He added that they are working diplomatically at the international level to pressure Israel and isolate it as much as possible.
the ambassador continued, saying swift actions are underway at the UN against those trying to weaken Syria.
He noted that hardliners within Netanyahu’s cabinet are looking for excuses to block any agreement.
The ambassador emphasized, “Syria has liberated itself militarily and declares it does not seek war-this shows restraint.”
In this context, Syria’s SANA news agency quoted the Julani regime’s Minister of Data stating Israeli attacks on Syria are provocative attempts aimed at dragging Damascus into military confrontation.
Syria’s Al-Ikhbariya network reported 13 killed and 25 wounded following an Israeli strike on Beit jenn village in rural Damascus.
In the early hours of Friday, a group of Israeli soldiers entered Beit Jenn village.
