850 Iraqis Return from Al-Hol Camp in Syria to Iraq
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shafaq News, a Syrian source confirmed that more than 850 Iraqis returned from Syria’s Al-Hol camp to Iraq on Monday.
The source, who works at the Al-Hol camp, stated that administrative and logistical arrangements have been completed to repatriate a new group of Iraqi nationals currently in the camp back to Iraq.
The source added that early tommorow morning,over 20 buses will be sent from Iraq through the al-Waleed border crossing in Syria’s al-Hasakah province.
This repatriation process is being conducted under US forces’ supervision,according to the Syrian official.
On Friday, Iraq’s Ministry of Migration announced that a new batch of Iraqi nationals was soon expected to depart from Al-Hol camp.
